(PBUH), (SAW), (SWT),(RA) ??
You will likely see these brackets after certain names, so to clarify, these simply mean the following:
(PBUH)= Peace be upon him, said after mentioning the Prophet Muhammad's name.
(SAW)= This means the same thing as (PBUH) but the arabic version which is: Sallalahu alayhi wassallam.
(SWT)= Glorious and Exalted is Allah, but in Arabic which is Subhanahu wa Ta'A'laa.
(RA)= May Allah be Please with him/her, in Arabic it is: Radi Allahu An, Usually said after mentioning a companion of the Prophet(PBUH).
